Larger 29-inch diameter wheels are optimized to roll smoothly over rough terrain, giving the bike balance and stability, giving you the momentum to tackle technical climbs and the confidence to fly down fast, rough singletrack descents.
Progressive suspension
The Giant Maestro rear suspension features a trunnion-mounted shock with longer travel and a smoother ride feel. With 135mm of rear travel (and 150mm up front), it features an Advanced Forged Composite upper link for increased stiffness and strength as well as a lower overall frame weight.
Adjustable frame geometry
Giant’s new Flip Chip lets you adjust the head tube and seat tube angles, along with the bottom bracket height, to tailor the handling to the rider’s needs. Choose the low position (65.5/77.2 head tube/seat tube angle and 40mm BB drop) for open, fast terrain, or the high position (66.2/77.9 head tube/seat tube angle and 30mm drop) for slower, tighter singletrack.
